AVI   is the author of over 70 books, including Newbery-award winning titles Crispin, The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle, and Nothing But the Truth. He has dysgraphia and struggled in school, achieving his dream of becoming a published author after much hard work. He’s been donating his time and collaborating with Denver Academy students for over 15 years. By sharing his own life stories, Avi has reminded students that with dedication, they can do anything. Through their partnership with Avi, students have been inspired to
read more, to write more, and to follow their dreams.
