★ History: Founded in 1972, DA has been transforming lives for over 40 years.

★ Students: 370 students (grades 1-12) attend Denver Academy. Our students typically have average or better intellectual aptitude with a history of learning differences (such as dyslexia or attention deficit disorder) or differences in learning style. Our students come from all religious, racial and socioeconomic backgrounds. Ninety two percent of our graduates pursue post-secondary education.

Teachers are selected for demonstrating qualities that enhance the educational program, including a strong desire to learn, overall commitment to the education of exceptional students, ability to handle stress and an intrinsic recognition of the importance of structure, compassion and accessibility.
