After weeks of 90 degree temperatures, Monday’s high in the 80’s was a welcome relief for the 102 golfers in the Denver Academy Golf tournament.  Golfers started their day with breakfast and a putting contest.  Winning putter Carl Larson won $680 – half of which he returned to DA to support the Tuition Assistance program.  After 4.5 hours of golf, a barbeque lunch was enjoyed on the beautiful Pinehurst patio.  Kudos to Eagle Sponsor, Lockton Co, for winning the Tin Cup flight – their foursome included DA parent and Lockton CEO, Chuck McDaniel and DA Headmaster, Kevin Smith.
